Job summary

Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. is seeking a Contract Utility Forester to work in the field with utility clients, property owners, and contractors. You will conduct inventories, plan work for contractors, and collect field data to support safe vegetation management.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field; 2+ years utility line clearance experience considered in lieu of degree.
• ISA-Certification within first year.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners & public agencies regarding pruning/removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories.
• Perform hazard tree inspections and evaluations.
• Plan work for tree contractors.
• Gather and manage field data (species, size, distance from conductors).
• Validate data across databases for accurate reporting.
• Ensure safety of employees and the public in work areas.
• Carry and use materials, tools, and equipment on site.
