Job summary

ElectriCom in Logansport, IN is seeking a Laborer to support telecommunications and utility construction crews. This role performs general labor, operates basic tools, and assists foremen.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required; CDL highly desired
• Ability to perform physically demanding labor
• Ability to work outdoors and travel as needed
• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to safe work practices

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and site preparation
• Operate hand and power tools (air hammers, tampers, chainsaws, trenching tools, etc)
• Clean and prepare work sites; remove debris; load and unload materials
• Assist equipment operators and Foremen with daily field activities
• Work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions
• Travel to job sites, including overnight out-of-town assignments; overtime may be required
• Participate in required training and perform traffic control as needed
