Job summary

ElectriCom is seeking a Laborer in Lafayette, IN to support telecommunications and utility crews. This role performs general labor, operates hand and power tools, prepares work sites, and assists equipment operators and foremen outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding labor tasks.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL highly desired.
• Willing to travel to job sites including overnight assignments.
• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and site preparation.
• Operate hand and power tools as needed (air hammers, tampers, chainsaws, trenching tools).
• Clean and prepare work sites; remove debris; load and unload materials.
• Assist equipment operators and foremen with daily field activities.
• Work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions.
• Travel to job sites, including overnight assignments; overtime may be required.
• Participate in required training and perform traffic control as needed.

We are seeking a Laborer to support telecommunications and utility construction crews. This role performs general labor tasks, operates hand and power tools, prepares work sites, and assists equipment operators and Foremen. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, and travel to job sites—including overnight out-of-town assignments—is required.
