Job summary

Lucas Tree Experts in Columbia, SC is seeking a motivated Utility Climber with 6–12 months in tree care and a valid CDL.

Duties include climbing up to 75 feet, operating a bucket truck and forestry equipment, performing line clearance, pruning and removals, outdoors year‑round.

Qualifications

• CDL required.
• Experience in Tree Industry.
• Climbing and utility line clearance experience.
• Able to work 45 hours per week.
• Must be 18+ with HS diploma/GED.
• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Willing to obtain CDL A/B within 6 months (company paid).
• Willing to obtain and maintain licenses/certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Climb up to 75 feet to perform tree care tasks.
• Operate bucket truck and forestry equipment safely.
• Perform line clearance, pruning, and removals.
• Work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.
