Job summary

Lucas Tree Experts, based in West Jefferson, NC, is seeking a motivated individual for a full-time Utility Climber role. The candidate will climb trees, remove vegetation from work areas, and operate diverse forestry equipment while performing line clearance and pruning.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in the Tree Industry.
• Must have climbing and utility line clearance experience.
• Must be able to work 45 hours a week.
• Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent.
• Must be willing to obtain CDL A or B license within the first 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Tree climbing and manual removal of vegetation from work areas.
• Safely operate forestry equipment (woodchipper, giraffe, hydraulic equipment, bucket truck, chainsaws).
• Perform line clearance, pruning, and removals.
