Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring for Entry-level and Skilled Trimmers and Climbers in West Virginia. On-the-job training is provided to build a career in the Line Clearance industry.

The role involves working outdoors in all weather to trim, top, and shape trees for utility clearance. We offer full-time, non-exempt employment with competitive hourly pay, plus benefits including health coverage, retirement plans, and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights under demanding conditions.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue.
• Assists in training new employees.
• Maintains good housekeeping on trucks and at work locations.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
• Requests repair or replacement when necessary.
