Zusammenfassung

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring for Tree Trimmer-442 in West Virginia. Entry-level and skilled trimmers and climbers are welcome; on-the-job training is provided. The role involves outdoor work in all weather, trimming, topping, and reshaping trees to clear powerlines.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, with hourly pay based on experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, EAP, and disability coverage. Prior experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Willing and able to work long hours and overtime during emergencies, including holidays and weekends.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position; no experience required.
• Previous tree trimming experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain a Driver's License or CDL when required.

Aufgaben

• Trims and/or removes trees by climbing with the aid of a ladder, safety belt, climbing line, powered trimmer lift truck, or works from the ground using saws, pruner, etc.
• Uses wedges, sledges, and chain saws in felling trees or trimmed trunks and in cutting and splitting logs.
• Ability to operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Plan, assign, direct, check, and coordinate work.
• Obtain permission from property owners to trim or remove trees or perform other work on property.
• Promote and maintain good customer and public relations through effective work and behavior.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
