Job summary

Wolf Tree, Inc. is seeking a dynamic utility tree trimmer to join our outdoor-facing team. You’ll work on site across locations to prune and remove trees for major electric utility providers, using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and collaboration with a foreperson and ground crew. Ideal candidates love the outdoors, can complete onboarding and safety trainings on hire, and hold a valid driver’s license; CDL endorsements are a plus.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work required.
• Must complete Davey Tree orientation program on hire.
• Must complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving courses on hire.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL-A or CDL-B with Airbrake endorsement preferred.
• Line clearance or related tree work experience preferred.
• Pesticide licenses/certificates required by state law (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Safely perform pruning and removal for electric utility providers.
• Prune treetops and remove damaged limbs.
• Remove broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other structures.
• Maintain, prepare, and operate tools and equipment (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Work as a crew member with ground crew and foreperson.
• Grow height opportunities based on performance.
