Job summary

Wolf Tree, Inc. is seeking a dynamic utility tree trimmer to join its outdoor-focused team. The role involves climbing using certified systems, pruning and removing trees for major electric utilities, and maintaining equipment and safety on site.

You’ll work with a crew to support forepersons, with opportunities to advance. The company offers a comprehensive benefits program and employee ownership.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Complete Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation on hire.
• Complete First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course on hire.
• CDL-A or CDL-B with Airbrake preferred.
• Line clearance/tree work experience preferred.
• Pesticide licenses/certificates preferred where required by law.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS systems.
• Perform pruning and removal work safely for utilities.
• Prune treetops, trim damaged trees, and remove limbs near lines.
• Operate tools including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Work as part of a crew with foreperson and ground staff.
• Maintain equipment and safety standards on site.
