Job summary

Wolf Tree, Inc., a Davey company, is seeking a dynamic utility tree trimmer to join our outdoor-first team in Chattanooga, TN. The office is outdoors, with a new view every day and opportunities to work on major electric utility line clearance projects.

You’ll climb using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS systems, prune and remove trees safely and skillfully, and operate tools including chainsaws and chippers. A valid driver’s license is required; CDL preferred. Travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors and outdoor work environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license at hire.
• Preferred: Commercial Driver’s License-Class A or B with Airbrake endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Prune and remove trees safely for major electric utilities.
• Remove broken limbs from lines, roofs and other objects.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws and chippers.
• Work as a crew member with ground crew and foreperson.
