Job summary

ArborMetrics is seeking a Transmission Work Planner to support vegetation management for utility corridors. The role involves outdoor field work, ROW traversal, data collection on tablets, and coordination with clients and leadership.

You will help identify safety hazards, comply with safety standards, and perform emergency response duties as needed. The ideal candidate has forestry education, GIS and MS Office proficiency, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tree species identification and hazard assessment.
• Familiar with utility vegetation management practices.
• Ability to hike ROWs and drive long hours.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Drive to work sites and hike rights-of-way up to 10 miles/day.
• Inspect and document vegetation work at customer properties.
• Record vegetation data using tablets and specialized software.
• Communicate with leadership, auditors, clients, and public.
