You’ll assist surveyors and engineers, using GPS, total stations, and data collectors to support boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys. This hands‑on role offers growth in modern surveying methods, a fast-paced field environment, and the chance to contribute to meaningful land development projects with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of field surveying experience preferred.
• Experience operating GPS units, total stations, and data collectors.
• Familiarity with Trimble equipment is a plus.
• Strong understanding of surveying principles, techniques, and instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., stand long periods, bend and twist.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to project sites.
• Understanding of OSHA safety standards.
• Commitment to integrity and non-discrimination policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction staking surveys using GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
• Accurately collect and record field data in accordance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with the Survey Crew Chief, project teams, and contractors to ensure precise data collection and staking.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot field equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret survey notes, plans, and maps to guide fieldwork.
• Ensure all field activities follow company standards, OSHA safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Travel to job sites daily; work in a variety of field conditions and weather environments.
