Aufgaben

• Support environmental service events, trainings, recruitment and workshops engaging volunteers and interns in natural areas management and street tree care.
• Support community engagement and planning efforts for scheduled public and private events facilitated by the Stewardship team. Recruit volunteers and interns to participate in events in a variety of outdoor settings.
• Lead and participate in natural area vegetation management, native vegetation plantings, trail work, erosion control, coastal clean-ups, street tree care, and other service projects.
• Manage and oversee the work of volunteers and interns in outdoor settings, instructing them in proper project techniques and equipment use.
• Update and maintain records, prepare written reports, and enter participant information into Excel; sketch work areas in ArcGIS and track progression toward goals.
• Support on-site efforts with local park managers and community groups; assist in registration and leading volunteers at events.
• Facilitate and enhance train-the-trainer options to provide more opportunities for volunteers.
