Virginia Green is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect with homeowners, assess lawn care needs, and propose tailored programs that yield healthy, beautiful lawns.

You'll build relationships, generate new business, and experience the impact of your efforts firsthand, with a monthly vehicle stipend, paid training, and clear opportunities for growth within our culture of accountability and respect.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for quick rapport.
• Customer-first mindset with a competitive drive to succeed.
• Comfortable with face-to-face sales and proactive outreach.
• Time management and ability to work independently in the field.
• Willingness to learn, grow and accept coaching.
• CRM experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to walk, stand and remain active for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Engage homeowners in assigned neighborhoods to introduce Virginia Green’s lawn care programs.
• Conduct on-site evaluations to assess lawn conditions and homeowner goals.
• Educate customers on tailored solutions for long-term lawn health.
• Set expectations and build trust from the first interaction.
• Prospect new customers through outbound outreach, referrals, and community presence.
• Convert conversations into service agreements using ethical sales practices.
• Generate leads and maintain a strong field presence in the territory.
• Cross-sell and upsell additional services to improve results and satisfaction.
• Track leads and sales activity in the CRM.
