Job summary

Virginia Green is hiring Lawn Care Technicians (Service Leaders) to work outdoors on assigned routes across the Mid-Atlantic. Your office is the outdoors, with hands-on work delivering lawn care services and direct customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Must obtain applicable state Department of Agriculture certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Work individually or with a crew to provide services to all properties on assigned route.
• Using hand and powered equipment, apply fertilizer, fungicides, herbicides, and aeration and seeding for pest and weed control in lawns.
• Diagnose lawn issues and recommend solutions.
• Build relationships with customers and identify service needs.
• Sell additional services to existing and prospective customers.
• Keep properties clean, safe, and looking their best.
• Maintain accurate service records and equipment.
• Assist with training new service leaders.
