Job summary

Virginia Green is seeking driven Lawn Care Technicians (Service Leaders) to join our outdoor-focused team. Your office is the outdoors—fresh air, open spaces, and real results from day one.

You'll work solo or with a crew to service properties on the assigned route, applying lawn treatments, diagnosing issues, and upselling services while building customer relationships. Training is paid and certifications are fully covered, with advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and 1+ years of driving experience.
• Must obtain applicable state Department of Agriculture certification within 30 days of hire.
• Be able to drive long distances or an eight to nine-hour shift in company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to properties on the assigned route, solo or with a crew.
• Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, aeration and seeding.
• Diagnose lawn issues and recommend solutions.
• Build relationships with customers and identify service needs.
• Sell additional services to existing and prospective customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and equipment.
• Assist with training new service leaders.
