Job summary

Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is seeking Maintenance Workers to join our Maintenance Division in Ada County. This full-time, non-exempt role offers a starting wage of $22.90-$25.20 per hour, with growth opportunities as you gain qualifications.

Idaho driver's license is required.
Able to obtain Idaho Class A CDL with tanker endorsement within six months.
Any combination of education, training, or experience meeting requirements.

Responsibilities

Operate rollers, skid steers, and light to medium maintenance equipment.
Perform heavy manual work to construct and repair roadways, sidewalks, and drainage.
Respond to roadway emergencies and work orders as part of a team.
Help keep Ada County moving in winter with snow removal and deicer application.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure reliable work output.
