Job summary

Turner’s Outdoorsman is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Corona, CA to support the Store Manager in daily operations, supervise employees, manage inventory, and drive sales while upholding firearms compliance.

This full-time role requires at least 2 years of retail supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, availability on Sundays, and knowledge of hunting or shooting sports; 21+ and Certificate of Eligibility required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory or managerial experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; college preferred.
• Must be able to work Sundays.
• Knowledge about hunting, fishing, or shooting sports preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a staff of hourly employees and supervise daily operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a high-value shopping experience.
• Meet budgeted sales by setting daily/weekly/monthly goals and manage labor costs.
• Advertises and promotes Turner’s Outdoorsman products and events.
• Schedule shifts and breaks in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Maintain merchandise stock levels and accurate cash handling.
