Qualifications

• Credentials to teach in the specific program or eligibility to be credentialed.
• Master’s degree in a related field or Master’s plus 18 grad credits in related field.
• Minimum of one-year full-time teaching experience, or the equivalent as an adjunct instructor.
• Higher education teaching experience preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the duties.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes as assigned by designated supervisor.
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with approved course objectives.
• Develop and submit course outlines and syllabi to supervisor.
• Assist in development of measurable course objectives and plans.
• Build professional relationships with students and staff to foster communication.
• Maintain accurate course records and complete required forms.
• Be available for student consultation.
• Assist in student recruitment as appropriate.
• Assist in curriculum evaluation and instructional performance.
• Represent the college professionally to communities and the college district.
