Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the specific program or eligibility to credential.
• Minimum of one year full-time teaching experience, or equivalent as an adjunct instructor; higher education teaching preferred.
• Strong pedagogy knowledge, plus ability to use educational technologies and resources effectively.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or conversational ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned course load as directed by supervisor.
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with objectives.
• Develop and submit course outlines and syllabi.
• Assist development of measurable course objectives and plans.
• Build professional relationships with students and staff to encourage communication.
• Maintain accurate course records and complete required forms.
• Be available for student consultation.
• Assist in recruiting students when appropriate.
• Assist in evaluating curriculum and instructional performance as agreed.
• Represent the college professionally in communities and the district.
