Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety of all program participants, staff, volunteers, and spectators.
• Supports assigned Outdoor Recreation programs from setup through completion.
• Follows the on-site direction of the Program Leader and assists with supervising participants and assigned groups.
• Facilitates activities and provides participant instruction within assigned program areas.
• Monitors participant behavior and compliance with established safety procedures.
• Reinforces activity instructions and safety rules and reports concerns to the Program Leader.
• Responds to emergencies and assists with implementing safety procedures.
