Job summary

Forsyth County is seeking an on-site Outdoor Recreation Program Supervisor to lead and coordinate seasonal staff and volunteers, ensure safe, high-quality program operations, and deliver a positive participant experience. You will conduct orientations, assess participant readiness, manage safety, maintain records, and collaborate with the Outdoor Recreation Supervisor on equipment, training, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain required program certifications.
• Must pass a criminal background check and have a valid Georgia driver's license.
• Must obtain or maintain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within six months.
• Demonstrates competency in assigned program areas and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead Outdoor Recreation programs from setup through completion.
• Provide on-site leadership to seasonal staff and volunteers.
• Ensure safety, environmental conditions, and program operations on-site.
• Maintain attendance records, incident reports, and equipment reports.
• Communicate professionally with participants, parents, and visitors.
