Job summary

Railserve in Port Arthur, TX is hiring dependable, safety-focused Transloaders to support daily rail and material handling operations at an outdoor industrial facility. This is a full-time, hands-on role essential to moving railcars safely and efficiently.

The position offers 4 days on, 4 days off with 12-hour shifts, $19.00–$24.00 per hour, with training provided. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be able to work outdoors in all weather, pass a background check, and perform

Qualifications

• Experience operating or handling rail equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify railcar numbers and placement per instructions.
• Load/unload railcars and connect/disconnect hoses and transfer equipment.
• Operate switches and trackside equipment; control movements via signals.
• Couple/uncouple railcars; manage air hoses and wheel chocks.
• Inspect equipment, enforce safety, and report hazards.
