Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to perform strenuous labor.
• Intellectual ability to learn and apply practical knowledge of chemical products and procedures.
• Basic mathematical ability & observation of safety rules.
• Recognition of the need for continued learning.
• Ability to accept close supervision and understand the limitations imposed to maintain an adequate margin against error.
• Knowledgeable of safety precaution and special handling requirements of each product.
• Trained in safety and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Transferring rail cars between positions so that operations personnel can load or unload products.
• Weigh outbound railcars and weigh cars in at the terminal.
• Respot any cars that are left and manage inbound cars.
• Weigh cars in and spot terminal.
• Certified on Switch Engine Operation.
• Follow company policies and comply with company regulations; cooperate with colleagues.
