Maricopa County's Flood Control District is hiring General Maintenance Workers to perform outdoor construction and maintenance of flood control structures in Arizona's desert. You will support public safety and maintain multi-use facilities while working year-round in a team environment.

Candidates need a minimum of one year of general maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED; a valid Arizona driver's license is required by hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor in building and maintaining roadways and Flood Control structures.
• Operate trucks and equipment and keep them clean and maintained.
• Conduct traffic control, report safety hazards, and assist during emergencies.
• Load/unload materials and deliver to job sites as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
