Job summary

Easton Select Group is seeking a dependable General Laborer – Pool Maintenance to support our service team in maintaining residential and commercial pools in Wallingford, CT. This full-time seasonal role offers outdoor work, hands-on training, and growth opportunities within the company.

You will assist experienced Pool Service Technicians with routine maintenance, openings/closings, and general labor tasks to ensure pools are clean, safe, and functioning properly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous labor, landscaping, construction, maintenance, or outdoor work experience is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn pool maintenance techniques and equipment.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from the reporting location.
• Valid driver's license preferred (required for advancement into technician roles).

Responsibilities

• Assist Pool Service Technicians with weekly pool maintenance and cleaning.
• Vacuum pools, skim debris, brush pool walls, steps, and tile lines.
• Test and record pool water chemistry.
• Add pool chemicals following company safety procedures and technician direction.
• Open and close swimming pools for the season.
• Help install, remove, fold, and store pool covers.
• Carry and transport equipment, tools, chemicals, and supplies to and from job sites.
• Load and unload service vehicles each day.
• Assist with minor equipment repairs and replacements under technician supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment at customer properties.
• Communicate professionally with customers while representing Easton Select Group.
• Follow all company safety policies and proper chemical handling procedures.
• Perform other labor duties as assigned to support the service department.
