Job summary

Ferguson is hiring a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate for our Waterworks location in Amarillo, TX. The role combines warehouse duties with outdoor pipe yard work, in all weather conditions, and may involve Non-CDL backup driving.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with occasional overtime. Requires 21+ years old, a valid license, and a DOT Medical Card. Pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience including shipping, receiving and inventory preferred.
• Must be 21 years old.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required.
• DOT Medical Card required to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• General computer skills for data entry; forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to pull and prepare outbound orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large piping.
• Work outdoors year-round in a pipeyard, in all weather conditions.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material; store inventory.
• Adhere to safety regulations and PPE usage, including safety harness when needed.
