Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate for our Waterworks location in Richmond, VA. The role involves working in a warehouse and outdoors in a pipe yard, with the majority of products exposed to weather conditions.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some overtime as needed. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, handling pallets, receiving and stocking material, and maintaining safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Background in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, delivery and inventory preferred.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• General computer skills for basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to pull and prepare outbound orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large piping.
• Work outdoors in a pipeyard in all weather conditions.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material.
