Job summary

Ferguson is hiring a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate at our Waterworks location in Richmond, VA. The role involves working in a warehouse as well as outdoors in the pipe yard, with most products exposed to the elements.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with some overtime. You will safely operate forklifts, handle pallets, and ensure accurate receiving and stock of materials in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Background in warehouse operations including shipping/receiving is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• General computer skills for basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to pull and prepare outbound orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large piping.
• Work outdoors year-round in a pipe yard and in all weather conditions.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material; store inventory.
