Job summary

Colorado Department of Natural Resources is offering a temporary internship (up to 9 months) with a focus on Maintenance, Park Ranger, Visitor Services, and Interpretive programs at Colorado parks. The role includes assisting with revenue collection, daily park operations, and customer service. Uniforms are partially provided; some items may be self-purchased.

Flexible start date, up to 40 hours/week. Applicants should be at least 21, have a valid driver's license, and be prepared for background

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Background check required for Colorado POST certification eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in revenue collection and verification, accounting and deposits.
• Support visitor services operations and interpretive/education programs.
• Perform general park operations, maintenance, and cleaning of facilities.
• Assist with habitat, trails, and Aquatic Nuisance Species projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
