Job summary

Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) offers a temporary internship position up to 9 months, with pay of $19.00 per hour. The role splits time among Maintenance, Park Ranger, Visitor Services, and Interpretive/Education Programs at Colorado state parks.

Duties include daily park operations, customer service, and supporting revenue and education programs. The internship provides exposure to fieldwork, training, and collaboration across sections, with uniform items supplied and some personal purchases

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have or be able to attain valid First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Must be available to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Outdoor physical work and climbing may be required.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance, park operations, and customer service across sections.
• Support Revenue, accounting, deposits, and visitor services operations.
• Assist with education and interpretive programs and habitat projects.
