Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. No prior experience required.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of safety standards is expected.
• Able to operate and maintain standard hand tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mows grass, edges curbs, and removes leaves; trims trees and limbs.
• Operates mowers, blowers, edgers, and weed eaters.
• Picks up supplies and assists daily work activities.
• Maintains tools and equipment; repairs as needed.
• Assists with irrigation installation and maintenance.
• Performs general park maintenance and prepares fields for events.
