The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a Semi Skilled Laborer for the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs to help maintain the southeastern Veterans' Center in Spring City. The role involves outdoor grounds upkeep, operating maintenance equipment, and basic repairs to keep facilities welcoming for veterans, families, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include mowing, pruning, debris removal, equipment operation, minor repairs, safety upkeep, and record-keeping under supervision.

Formación

One year of laboring work experience using tools and equipment in maintenance or construction.
Or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsabilidades

Grounds maintenance across outdoor areas including mowing, pruning, planting, and debris removal.
Operate riding mowers, snow plows, trimmers, and other machinery for year-round upkeep.
Perform small masonry, carpentry, and plumbing repairs as needed throughout facilities.
Keep walkways and parking areas safe by removing snow, ice, leaves, and hazards.
Review work requests and maintain basic records as directed by supervisor.
Clean work areas and tools after completing maintenance tasks.
