Job summary

Montana Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking an Equipment and Machine Operator to help supply the asphalt plant and related operations in Montana. You’ll operate a loader outdoors, load trucks, and perform routine maintenance while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, teamwork, and reliable attendance during peak season with potential overtime. Previous equipment experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance, attendance and punctuality.
• Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment-controlled substance testing.
• Demonstrates the ability to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
• Demonstrates the ability to conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT and all other company or state rules and regulations.
• Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date.
• Valid Drivers License

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently within its designed parameters.
• Ensure necessary supply of materials for asphalt plant & crusher are available.
• Load trucks with proper materials for delivery.
• Fuel, oil, grease and check other necessary loader parts to ensure proper function of equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of Equipment and Site premises.
• Perform general maintenance and repair on equipment as assigned.
• Assist other departments with maintenance, operations, and/or other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Promptly communicate with supervisors on any flaws in material or equipment.
• Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.
• Regular and timely attendance.
• Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.
