Job summary

Fever is seeking a Production Coordinator for a large-scale outdoor live event in New York this fall. You will support load-in, execution, and breakdown, working with the Production Manager, Producer, and Assistant Producer to keep the project organized, on schedule, and within budget.

This freelance, contract role runs mid August to mid October 2026 for load-in, and mid December to mid January 2027 for load-out.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in large-scale live events or entertainment, ideally in a Production Coordinator or Production Assistant role.
• Based in NYC or surrounding areas.
• Must have experience using Google Drive and the Google suite of applications including Sheets, Word, Google Meetings.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors for a standard 10 hour workday.
• Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to work well under stress with calm professionalism.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; comfortable in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Production Manager regarding equipment rentals/returns, local purchases, and deliveries to ensure prompt distribution of equipment and materials around the work site.
• Distribute keys daily to designated crew members and ensure all keys return to the lock box at the end of each work day.
• Ensure drinking water is available to all crew members and facilitate daily crew catering.
• Ensure the work site is cleaned at the end of each day to maintain an orderly environment.
• Oversee installation/deinstallation of small drink machines, signage, and offices.
• Attend daily safety meetings and follow all procedures when incidents occur, ensuring staff are certified and trained.
• Assist with the Emergency Action Plan and weather-related site controls.
• Complete other related tasks as assigned by Fever.
