Job summary

Environmental Resources Group is seeking a dependable Landscape Laborer to support year-round grounds maintenance at a secure government facility in Langley, VA. The role involves mowing, trimming, planting, and general outdoor upkeep under supervision.

Responsibilities include operating landscape tools, loading and organizing materials, and complying with safety and security procedures. Prior landscaping or outdoor labor experience is preferred; strong work ethic and team spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional landscaping experience preferred.
• Familiarity with mowers, trimmers, blowers, hand tools, or other landscape equipment is a plus.
• Dependable attendance and ability to report to site for early shift.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a crew.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physically demanding work including standing, bending, lifting and carrying.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine grounds maintenance: mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, pruning, mulching, planting, leaf removal and cleanup.
• Operate commercial landscaping tools and equipment safely.
• Load, unload, move and organize tools, materials, plants and debris.
• Keep lawns, beds, walkways and common areas neat and presentable.
• Follow crew-leader instructions and complete assigned work efficiently.
• Inspect tools and report equipment damage or maintenance needs.
• Follow safety practices and site access procedures.
• Assist with seasonal projects and other grounds maintenance duties.
• Participate in snow and ice removal operations as required.
