State of Colorado's Department of Transportation (CDOT) seeks a Highway Maintenance Specialist in Rico, CO. This on-site role maintains roads, operates heavy equipment, and responds to weather emergencies with a safety-first mindset.

You will work in a team, plowing snow, repairing and maintaining roadways, and performing routine maintenance. A CDL with no air brake restrictions and at least two years of heavy equipment experience are required.

Competenze

• Must have at least two (2) years of physical labor and/or heavy equipment operation experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B with no restriction on air brakes.

Mansioni

• Plowing snow and performing other highway maintenance duties.
• Operating heavy equipment such as tandem dump trucks, loaders, and tractors.
• Mowing grass, removing debris, and repairing guardrails and road markings.
• Responding to weather emergencies and working in teams to maintain road safety.
