Apartment Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable Groundskeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community for residents. This role focuses on outdoor maintenance, property upkeep, and team collaboration at multiple properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation; may be assigned to multiple properties during a shift.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work.
• Work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).
• Availability for emergency response during inclement weather.
• 10 Paid Holidays.
• Paid Funeral Leave & Jury Duty Leave.

Responsibilities

• Walk the property daily to pick up trash, remove debris, and maintain dog waste stations and dumpster areas.
• Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and mulching.
• Use hand tools and power equipment (leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.).
• Remove snow and apply salt to sidewalks and steps during winter weather.
• Keep the maintenance shop organized and stocked.
• Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns to the Service Supervisor.
• Assist with unit “make-ready” tasks as requested.
• Follow company safety procedures and property security protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
