Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a dependable Groundskeeper to maintain the exterior spaces of our apartment communities. This entry‑level role suits someone who enjoys outdoor work, staying active, and contributing to a clean and welcoming environment.

You will perform exterior cleaning, landscaping support, and light maintenance in coordination with the maintenance team, with a schedule Monday to Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, plus on‑call rotation for emergencies and resident events.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required or equivalent.
• Bus/yardwork and general facility maintenance understanding.
• 1 year of maintenance/repair/HVAC experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform exterior cleaning and debris removal across property areas.
• Maintain sidewalks, breezeways, parking lots, green spaces, and signage.
• Keep trash receptacles and pet stations clean and free of debris.
• Assist with light landscaping tasks: raking, weeding, trimming, and watering.
• Ensure pool decks, courtyards, and outdoor amenities look presentable.
