Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners in Greensboro is seeking a Groundskeeper to join Village Lofts’ exterior maintenance team, keeping sidewalks, green spaces, and amenities clean and welcoming. This entry-level role offers hands-on training, a clear career path, and a supportive environment where your work matters.

Schedule is typically Monday–Friday, with on-call duties for emergencies and occasional resident events.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Understanding and knowledge of yardwork and general facility maintenance.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and pick-up of debris or trash in exterior areas.
• Maintain sidewalks, breezeways, parking lots, green spaces, and signage.
• Maintain community trash receptacles, compactor areas, and pet stations.
• Assist with light landscaping tasks (raking, weeding, trimming, watering).
• Maintain cleanliness of pool deck, courtyards, grilling stations, benches, and outdoor amenities.
• Assist with light painting, bulb replacement, and organizing shop/storage areas.
• Prepare vacant apartments with light cleaning if needed.
