Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking a Grounds Maintenance teammate to care for hospital grounds. You’ll perform lawn care, leaf raking, snow removal, and basic outdoor repairs to keep the campus inviting and safe. You’ll work with the Grounds Coordinator and teammates, following guidelines and safety procedures.

Experience in landscaping or snow removal is preferred; a high school diploma is preferred. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance and/or snow removal preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions.
• Ability to work outside in the elements and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Cuts and maintains lawns and grass.
• Rakes and maintains leaves, cares for plants, flowers, trees and shrubs.
• Performs snow removal activities per guidelines.
• Maintains campus grounds clean and free of debris.
• May perform basic repairs to outdoor furniture to maintain safety.
• Maintains landscape power equipment in good operating condition.
• Stress safety as top priority.
• Informs Grounds Coordinator of unsafe conditions.
