Job summary

Allied Services is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain outdoor spaces across health care facilities. Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, mulching, snow removal, and ensuring contract retention, with emphasis on safety and quality control.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), 1 year landscaping experience preferred, 6 months custodial experience, and a valid PA driver’s license; flexibility in schedule is needed to meet site needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year of landscaping experience preferred.
• Six (6) months of custodial experience is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required for effective interaction with staff, clients, and external agencies.
• Must be cleared to work in the building(s) assigned; may include references, criminal record, child abuse clearance, etc.
• Must be able to provide excellent customer service.
• Must have a valid PA driver's license.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Adherence to safety and infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass with power equipment or hand tools.
• Load and unload mulch, dirt, gravel, etc.
• Perform trimming and related groundskeeping tasks.
• Assist with snow removal.
• Maintain quality control and contract retention for groundskeeping accounts.
• Clean assigned area in a safe and efficient manner.
• Attend to landscaping needs of individuals in the area.
