The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community invites you to join as an Outdoor Operations Assistant. You’ll maintain outdoor areas, assist guests, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment. The role follows a Friday–Monday schedule with opportunities for growth within a supportive community.

Starting pay is $19.00 hourly with additional compensation based on shift and experience. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, a 401(k) from day one, and paid weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• Valid Class D driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Outside maintenance and/or landscape experience or a combination equal to two years, including small‑engine equipment.
• Ability to operate forklift or sidewalk snow removal equipment, or complete training within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Keep outside areas free of debris in parking lots, garages, and landscaped areas.
• Perform outside maintenance and preventive work on parking lots and sidewalks.
• Provide jump-starts and tire inflation services for guests and team members.
• Complete snow plowing, salting and removal of property parking areas, sidewalks and roadways.
• Weed flowers and plant areas.
• Provide traffic control during events by placing/removing signs, cones, and barricades.
