Job summary

Kampgrounds of America, Inc. (KOA) is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain an attractive outdoor space across our parks. You will mow, edge, prune, weed, and perform basic repairs to keep grounds safe and welcoming for guests.

Responsibilities include operating landscaping equipment, applying fertilizers and pesticides, supporting irrigation, and assisting with carpentry or plumbing tasks as needed. A can-do attitude and teamwork are essential in our outdoor hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of gardening techniques.
• Working knowledge with sprinkler systems and other landscaping equipment.
• Understanding of fertilizer, pesticide, and gasoline dispensing.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Mows, trims, weeds, and maintains lawns and shrubs.
• Follows safety guidelines for operation of equipment and chemicals.
• Operates and maintains landscaping equipment, trucks, golf carts, and power tools.
• Applies insecticides, fertilizers, and chemical sprays for plant health.
• Assists in irrigation audits and repairs.
• Participates in maintenance and landscaping projects.
• Assists with carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Provides friendly, service-oriented interactions with guests.
• Maintains property according to QA procedures.
