Job summary

KOA Campgrounds is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of campground buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds to KOA standards.

You will delegate tasks to staff, supervise daily/weekly/monthly maintenance programs including the pool/spa, landscaping, propane pumping, and report issues to Campground Manager or Owner. Must adhere to safety guidelines and provide excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment and installation.
• Intermediate knowledge of propane and gasoline dispensing.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to delegate projects and manage a team.
• Lead by example and be a role model.

Responsibilities

• Oversee carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs to campground facilities and grounds.
• Supervise maintenance programs, including pool/spa, lawn care, and equipment upkeep.
• Follow safety programs and proper storage of tools and chemicals.
• Provide attentive, responsive guest service and report issues to management.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
