Job summary

KCN Campgrounds is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain campground buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds to KOA standards. You will delegate tasks to staff and monitor progress to ensure safe, clean, and fully operational facilities.

You will oversee carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs, maintenance programs, safety compliance, and guest service. Strong leadership and practical know-how are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Advanced electrical and plumbing knowledge and installation experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of chemical properties, handling, and usage.
• Intermediate knowledge of propane and gasoline dispensing.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of delegating projects and following up on them.
• Capable of managing a group of employees.
• Lead by example and be a role model.

Responsibilities

• Complete and oversee carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs as directed.
• Oversee maintenance programs (pool/spa, lawn, landscaping, cleaning, propane pumping, laundry) and report progress.
• Ensure safety compliance with KOA and local regulations in handling equipment, tools and chemicals.
• Provide attentive, responsive customer service and report guest issues to management.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
