GENCO General Contractors of P.R. Corp. is seeking a reliable Laborer - Grounds Maintenance to support our grounds maintenance operations at Fort Buchanan.

The successful candidate will maintain lawns, landscaped areas, recreational areas, facilities, and other outdoor spaces to ensure they remain clean, safe, well-maintained, and visually appealing. This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding work, operate landscaping equipment and hand tools safely, and work effectively

Qualifications

• This role requires physical stamina and ability to perform demanding manual labor.
• Candidates must safely operate landscaping equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate walking-type and riding lawn mowers.
• Mow and maintain lawns and landscaped areas.
• Trim hedges and edges around walkways and beds.
• Prune shrubs and trees with hand tools.
• Water lawns and plantings using hoses or sprinklers.
• Apply lawn treatments as required.
• Keep grounds, athletic fields, and facilities clean and safe.
• Report equipment issues to supervisor.
• Perform seasonal grounds maintenance tasks as needed.
