Tioga Downs is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Engineer to maintain outdoor spaces, operate company vehicles, and contribute to a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment for guests and staff.

The role emphasizes hands-on groundskeeping, physical activity, and a commitment to quality in all weather conditions. Ideal candidates will have a valid driver’s license and prior groundskeeping experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow direction.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles as needed.
• Perform routine groundskeeping, including mowing and trimming around walkways, flower beds, and buildings.
• Maintain landscaping by planting, watering, fertilizing, mulching, raking, and pruning.
• Keep sidewalks clean and clear of debris; shovel snow and apply ice melt during winter.
• Assist with setup and teardown of special events.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of maintenance buildings and surrounding areas.
• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs in barn areas as directed.
