Job summary

FeedMore WNY Foundation, Inc. is seeking a Facilities & Grounds Technician to maintain outdoor spaces and support facility operations in Hamburg, NY. The role covers lawn care, landscape maintenance, snow and ice removal, and general custodial tasks to keep the campus welcoming and safe.

You will work with a small team to perform basic maintenance, assist with events, transport equipment, and respond to daily requests while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, facilities maintenance or custodial work is preferred.
• Ability to operate landscaping and snow removal equipment safely.
• Valid driver's license is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, landscaped areas, trees, shrubs, and flower beds.
• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, weeding, mulching, and seasonal plant care.
• Monitor grounds appearance and address maintenance needs.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and irrigation systems.
• Assist with snow and ice removal and winter maintenance.
• Support cleaning, event setup, and general facilities tasks as needed.
• Assist with everyday operations and fulfill mission-related duties.
