Job summary

Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR is seeking a part-time FWS Outdoor Leadership Gear Guru to support Outdoor Leadership classes and trips, ensuring equipment is available, prepared, and cared for for each adventure.

You will manage gear inventory, assist with trip pack-outs, coordinate with instructors, and contribute to a well-organized outdoor program while developing teamwork and problem-solving skills.

• Qualifies for federal work study funding for the 2025-26 academic year (preferred, but not required)

Responsibilities

• Gear Inventory & Management: Conduct an annual gear inventory and additional inventories as needed
• Label new equipment and maintain accurate inventory records in FileMaker
• Check first-aid kits and remove expired medications
• Maintain familiarity with the location and organization of Student Wellbeing, Outdoor Pursuits, and Outdoor Leadership gear
